How often should a (UV) Ultraviolet air disinfectant light bulb be replaced?

The ozone   lamp/bulbs for an AirWaves air purification system should be replaced every two year, even if the light appears to be functional. The ozone output of the lamp decreases slowly with age and has a useful life of 18000 hours (Two Years). Beyond 18000 hours the lamp output starts degrade rapidly and disinfection performance will be suspect. Leaving your home air system open to harmful microorganisms, bacteria’s, air born viruses, odours and mould spores.
