The iKO-Z XTR3 uses standard household electric current.  Made from durable weather proof aluminum housing and with a 9000 hour life span infrared quartz heating bulb which produces a 3m blanket of heat. A special golden reflector alloy directly on the quartz tube allows for complete radiation. These industrial infrared quartz heaters use a gold coating on the infrared quartz tube that reflects the infrared radiation and directs it towards the product to be heated. Consequently the infrared radiation impinging on the product is virtually doubled. This gold coating is used because of its oxidation resistance and very high IR reflectivity of approximately 95%.  The infrared radiation impinging on the product is virtually doubled.  Another feature is that a heated area is not affected by wind and there are no uv rays used or harmful toxic emissions produced.  The IKO-Z XTR3 is less expensive to operate than a propane patio heater averaging 15 cents an hour at peak times.  To make this unit portable, an optional tripod stand is available with adjustable telescopic pole.
